Arachnoslide
This game was created with C++ and SDL2. The entire game requires only one button. In Arachnoslide, the goal is to use an ant to free all the ants trapped in a spiderweb and safely guide them to the goal. Of course, the spiders won’t make it easy for you.
To move the ant, you need to plan its actions in advance. A pointer runs along the left side of the screen, cycling through the available actions. When the desired action is highlighted by the pointer, press a button to select it. Holding the button opens the menu; once the desired menu option is highlighted, release the button to select it. Using this system, you can enter a level code or a challenge (multi) code. The challenge code lets you compete against others—a simple, budget-friendly multiplayer mode :-). The included images explain what each symbol represents.

Great Game! A puzzle game is a perfect pick for 1 button restriction. My favorite part being the art. My one feedback would be that at times, making commands can be slow at times, which can be good for getting exact actions, but slow level completion.
Thank you so much for your feedback and kind words! I’m really happy you enjoyed the game, especially the art. You’re absolutely right about the pacing – finding the right balance between being fast enough to keep things moving and slow enough for precision was a real challenge for me. I’ll definitely keep your feedback in mind for future updates or projects.
This is one of my favorite games from this jam! I love the art, music, modes and overall game concept! I honestly don't have many criticisms or advice. Also it is super impressive you got multiplayer working in a week, while I didn't get to try it with someone, its really cool you did that. Def top 3 games I've played this jam
Wow, thank you so much for the amazing feedback, it really means a lot to me!
Your kind words are incredibly motivating for future projects.
